The Word Of The Lord

I know where you stay -- and when you come and go, says the Word Of The Lord

{Isa 40:28 NIV}
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom.

Praise Be To The Lord {1King 8:56} (NIV)
56) Praise be to the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel just as He promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises He gave through His servant Moses.
{Ps 93:5}
5) Your statues stand firm; holiness adorns Your house for endless days, O Lord
God's Grace; is ever present
Amen.

The king of Assyria claimed the Lord himself had sent him to attach Jerusalem {Isaiah 36:10 NIV}.
The Assyrian's wanted the people of Jerusalem to believe God had no power against them.
They tried to convince the people of Jerusalem that their only hope was to surrender to them before it was too late.
But, {Isa 36:18-21 NIV} the people ignored the Assyrians as they had been instructed by king Hezekiah.
King Hezekiah turned his attention to the Lord and he asked Isaiah the prophet to intercede and pray for Jerusalem.
{Read {Isa 37:6,7 NIV}.
Isaiah 37:6,7:
{DO NOT BE AFRAID}
6) Isaiah said to them, "Tell your master, 'This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid of what you have heard --- those words with which the underlings of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
7) Listen! I am going to put a spirit in him so that when he hears a certain report, he will return to his own country, and there I will have him cut down with the sword.'"
The Lord gave a Word through the prophet Isaiah to king Hezekiah. How many of us know that the Word of the Lord is trustworthy?

{Ps 111:7 NIV}.
7) The works of His hands are faithful and just; all His precepts are trustworthy.

The Word Of The Sovereign Lord:
I The Lord
{Ezekiel 12:25} (NIV)
25) But I the Lord will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay. For in your days, you rebellious house, I will fulfill whatever I say, declares the Sovereign Lord.
